Greeting from Malaysia

Hello everyone.Just a short and simple introduction about me. Given name Ekmal Hakeem, just call me Ekmal@Mal .Born on 30th Mac 1986 and I'm from Malaysia.
Begin riding since 2004 till 2007 with my beloved Kawasaki KR150 (KIPS).On 29th May 2015,bought the Ninja 250SL with a purpose to commute with a total distance of 650km every weekend.Recent mod done was installing a full system exhaust on the machine and I'm planning to do some upgrade which it suits the purpose of having this bike.
As a noob,I hope that we can share our knowledge together and tie our relation as the owner of Ninja 250SL brotherhood.
Cheers guys.

Did you by any chance get a tune done after getting your exhaust installed?
And what's the bike like with it on now?

Sorry for the late reply, quite busy ☺

No,i didn't tune the bike because from what i heard the stock ecu can't be tune,we need a piggyback install to tune it.
The throttle response after installed the exhaust is much more better.i'm very satisfy with it.
Btw bro,where are you from?

sorry bro..it's a really late reply..
it cost me around RM1000 for the full system and yes,we need to tune the ecu with a piggyback or standalone ecu..means, we can't tune the stock ecu itself and i recommend you to replace the stock air filter too..in my opinion for the beginning/first stage:
1. full system exhaust
2. performance air filter (K&N,DNA etc)
3. engine management (piggyback or standalone ecu)
4. sprocket (need consultation from the pros due to the weight of the rider and other matters that will affect the bike's performance)

I spoke with one of the kawasaki service centre staff, he told me that the warranty only void on the part that we had replaced only, means if you replaced the exhaust, the warranty will void anything that related to the exhaust only..but for the other parts of the bike, the warranty is still valid

it's my 2cents
