VERY conservative Fuel Gauge

Do I have a fault or has anyone else experienced a very cautious fuel gauge?
After filling the tank and riding 230km its flashing but when you open the filler there is at least 1/2 tank left??

That's weird, have you spoke with the dealer about this or have seen others report a similar experience?

Not heard it it but I`m due a visit to my dealer. Well when I say dealer I use the term loosely as they are the worst customer service I have EVER experienced!!

That's why I like living in highly populated areas or not far from them where dealers are more common to come by, at least then if one is bad, you still have convenient options.

On one bar left, there's a decent amount of fuel left usually. I usually leave it to drop down until the final bar starts flashing, then give it about 10 euros of petrol which fully fills it up.

My experience is:

- when the fuel indicator blinking during lasr bar
- i used to fill about 7.8 littre only but tank is full
- means that when last bar and started to blinking, the tank still left 3 littre petrol ( spec : 11 littre full tank )

so it is about 1/4 left.

the owners book says the last flashing indicator means you have 3 litres of gasoline left. your fuel seems like filled up to half of the fuel tank because the bottom of the fuel tank is narrower than the top of it
