I think that the color blocking like that makes the bike look slimmer. That is probably a good thing as many modern bikes can start to look pretty wide IMO.

Another thing that I just noticed were the rims. I like them. Kinda a honeycomb pattern.

Do they use this wheel design on other bikes too or is this something that is special for this model? I guess I haven't been paying close attention to the other Kawasaki bikes' rims.

Do you think its just a styling choice on the part of Kawasaki whether they go with digital or analogue, or does it have more to do with cost?

They do look very similar but that is to be expected given that it is a Kawasaki.
