That's exactly why I need to move down south since the roads are better overall, for your safety (think large unexpected pot holes), pleasing to the eye, more enjoyable ride, the list goes on. You even get better drivers sometimes since people aren't always trying to avoid imperfections on the road and just purely focused on who's in front of them.

Oh tell me about it, in a darn car I'm sometimes worried about the roads I drive on because of that same issue. People try to avoid all the darn potholes (the roads in my area are pretty darn bad) and they just start swerving all over and expect you to avoid them...

reason why I always recommend using the same roads or roads you know so that way avoiding the imperfects become second nature and you can better focus on riding and all the other threats that can't become second nature to you... aka bad drivers.

safety as a rider is #1

I always try to use the same route and have the pot holes down pretty good memory wise, I used to practice all the time in a car in the night time lol. Sounds weird but it works. But safety is always the #1 priority. That's why I'm always such a huge advocate of full gear riding.

During the day I just observe road conditions while i'm out riding and driving along with just watching how people drive and how their vehicles react as that's a key thing, helps to see how bad those imperfections in the road really are which for us riders can be detrimental

Hopefully i'm not violating any forum rules by mentioning a vendor but motorcycle superstore is a good source for universal exhausts, just checked them out and there's a entire page worth of them. check it out.
